The Blackmore Brush
Jardent Arred, a master alchemist, in roughly 150 YK, created the Blackmore Brush. Despite his mastery over the transmutation process, the effects of the brush were unexpected. Free of the brush, the embedded crystal supposedly had a very different effect on its user. While the original effect was never documented fully, it did affect the appearance of the user for a short period of time after direct contact. Once meshed with the brush and imbued with magical seals to focus its energy, it no longer gave any physically augmenting effects, but instead it slows time for all but the user for a short period of time. The specifics of these effects are as of yet unknown.
